FAQ
Please find some information below to help you enjoy your day out at our first Bersham Ironworks Play Day.
Q -What Activities will there be?
There will be many opportunities for play including water, den making, circus skills, storyteller, crafts, garden games, and table tennis plus lots more. Be prepared to get wet and muddy!
Q – What happens if it rains?
This will be an outside event that will be taking place whatever the weather so please dress appropriately. We recommend bringing waterproofs such as a puddle suit, or spare clothing and towels so you can get stuck in!
Q- How do we get there?
The Play Day is being held in a field at the back of Bersham Ironworks (LL14 4LP). We have very limited parking so would like to encourage as many families as possible to consider alternative methods of travel. If you can walk to our site please do, you can access the event on foot through the Mill Building. Volunteers will be there to direct you.
Q- Where can we park?
We have a small amount of parking available on site, which you can access via a single-track road opposite the entrance to St Mary’s Plas Power Church, Bersham. There will be Volunteers onsite to direct you and manage the cars entering and leaving site. Once this area is full, we have no other parking available.
We ask you to park responsibly and respect local residents.
Q -Will there be food & drink available?
We will have a small cash only stall selling cold drinks and snacks only. Please bring small change if you can.
You are very welcome to bring food with you. We recommend bringing a flask of hot chocolate for a yummy treat! Remember a picnic blanket.
We hope you enjoy the Play Day!
